| Welcome to the Caerphilly RFC Under 10's Section |
| Can we welcome you to the Caerphilly U10's website. We are Mike Haley, Carl Davies and Steve Edinborough the three coaches. We have passed the relevant WRU coaching courses, while Carl and Mike have passed the Dragon sports, Child protection and First aid course, Mike has been police checked and passed the level one referees badge.
Our aim is threefold and in the following order 1. For the childrens involvement in the game to be safe 2. For the kids to enjoy it and have fun 3. To develop the childrens rugby skills We do not care much for results. Yes its nice to win but at this age it does not matter and that is why we will never pick a 1st and 2nd team and pigeon hole the kids into good and bad rugby players, they are too young. Each Child will have (to the best of our ability) exactly the same amount of game time. Some Sundays they may have less than their peers but throughout the season it will even itself out. We train every Friday down the rugby club between 6-7 and games are held every Sunday kick-off 11am. If you wish for your child to join please contact Mike on the numbers below. We have a waiting list and your childs name will be added to it. |
