Caerphilly can confirm the latest signings, detailed below.

Scott Mitchell - Outside Half - Cross Keys
Dan Dark - Centre/Full Back - Cross Keys
Matthew Taylor - Centre - Old Illtydians
Neil Dallymore - Centre - Old Illtydians
Justin Benfield - Back Row - Pontypridd

Coach Matthew Back is very upbeat about the latest signings.
"We have been very busy in the weeks since the end of the season, bringing in some Premiership experienced players, along with some ex-Caerphilly players. It's unfortunate however that we have lost Matthew Petit and Adam Minty to Bedwas, but the remainder of lst season's squad have signed for another season, and they're as keen as ever for success."

IRB Junior World Championship - Wales 2008
Five match days will take place throughout June at Cardiff Arms Park, Newport's Rodney Parade, the Liberty Stadium in Swansea and The Racecourse in Wrexham ensuring top class rugby action for families and rugby fans across Wales.

Children, coaches and clubs will be beneficiaries of a WRU-devised legacy programme to ensure the tournament leaves a lasting impact for Wales on many levels.

Fifteen rugby clubs in Wales ( including CAERPHILLY RFC ) have been specifically chosen as 'host' clubs for the international teams. They will benefit on two fronts – they will have the chance to keep a range of Rhino training equipment and Webb Ellis balls used by the teams once the teams leave Wales; they will also act as a link between the elite international side and the local community.

WRU Head of Rugby Development Nigel Davies said: "It is vital that we use the Junior World Championship to inspire the young people of Wales and that is one of the most important features of this tournament as far as Welsh rugby is concerned.

Both New Zealand and Tonga (Caerphilly RFC) will be based within the Blues region for the duration of the June tournament, playing their matches at Cardiff Arms Park along with Ireland and Argentina who make up Pool A.

WRU Group Chief Executive Roger Lewis said: "The Junior World Championship will bring the world's elite young talent to Wales and our legacy programme will ensure Welsh rugby benefits for a long time to come."

Tickets for the tournament are now on sale via Ticketmaster: Click Here to purchase online or telephone 08705 582 582.

The international rugby tournament of the year is taking place in Wales and tickets are now on sale!

The best 16 international sides at Under 20 level will descend on Wales this June with match action taking place in Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and Wrexham. The Welsh Rugby Union and International Rugby Board have put together a ticket policy for the event which will give everyone the chance to feast on three weeks of high class international rugby, all over Wales.

Tickets are now available for the event at just £2 (plus booking fee) for children and £8 (plus booking fee) for adults for each individual match day, all of which include at least two top class games. Venue and team packages are also available from £8 (plus booking fee) for children and £30 (plus booking fee) for adults which include a total of 10 matches each. To book for groups of 8 or more, please contact our groups department on 0844 844 2121.

England, Australia, Canada and Fiji will play their Pool matches in Newport, South Africa, Scotland, USA and Samoa will be based in Wrexham; New Zealand, Ireland, Argentina and Tonga will do battle in Cardiff; while hosts Wales will join France, Italy and Japan at the Liberty Stadium, Swansea.

Book now for what is set to be an unbelievable tournament, showcasing the best in aspiring talent. Don't miss your chance to view the stars of tomorrow!

Booking Notes:

Please note that booking a ticket for a game at any venue on any of the day entitles you to see both games played at that venue on that day. If you are booking a team package, please ensure you confirm which team you wish to see play in the Match Day 4 play offs and the Final Day games. If Wales fails to make the Top 4 they will play their last match at Liberty Stadium as the third match at 15:00. Please note that all kick-off times are subject to Broadcast arrangements.
